PowerSport Institute Organizes the NY SkillsUSA Motorcycle Technology Competition

Wow a lot of fun and a great event.  The New York state SkillsUSA competition was in April of this year and Ohio Technical College and the PowerSport Institute helped run several of the competitions.  We believe it is important for PSI to be involved with this great organization and to help develop the technicians of tomorrow.  This year, PSI developed the contest materials, workstations, and judged the Motorcycle Technology contest.

The contestants were great and very professional in the manner they approached each workstation.  From electrical to measuring skills, this year's contest was difficult, but a great experience for the contestants.

Bernie Thompson, Director of the PowerSport Institute said, "I believe our High Schools are on the right track providing a great foundation for professionalism and technical skills. I am looking forward to having these great students attend PSI and pursue their dreams."
